Hyperwords for Firefox FAQ

I don't like the way the Hyperwords menu 'pops-up' every time I select some text!

OK, that's not really a question but anyway, you can change this in the User Settings.

Why do you I have a Hyperwords Toolbar? What happened to my regular Firefox Google search box?

The Hyperwords Toolbar can be used as a regular toolbar: Enter text and hit 'enter' twice to get Google results.

If you prefer to have only the regular toolbar/search box go to the User Settings and under the 'Toolbar' tab you can change this.

Can I use an Amazon or Wikipedia for where I live?

Yes! Go to the User Settings and click on the 'Localization' tab to change all kinds of localization settings.

I don't like Hyperwords. Can I have my money back?

No. Hyperwords is free so you can't have any money back since you didn't pay anything. However, Hyperwords developments very user-driven so please contact us with your gripes and we'll fix bugs and (quite often) implement suggestions.

You can change a lot of how Hyperwords works though in the famous User Settings.

I have a suggestion for a new search command!

We'll that's great. But did you know you can add it yourself? Please have a look at the explanation video.

I love Hyperwords but don't use Firefox. Help!

Hyperwords will be available for Windows late 2008 as well as for other platforms and systems. It's highly unlikely that we'll be able to deliver Hyperwords for Apple's Safari though. Apple is just not that into extensions at the moment. If you know someone at Apple, do bring it up over coffee.

This FAQ is too short. I have a question. Can I email you?

Yes, please contact us.
