Hyperwords does not track what websites you visit, what websites it is used on or what text it operates on, nor any personal information.

Hyperwords does, however, tell server which commands were used (search, translate, etc.), as well as what time of day it was used, what browser version was used, and wether you used the mouse or keyboard. And nothing else.

This is for two reasons:

1. To improve the service by figuring out what services people like best, and
2. To help get fair deals with service providers.

To further clarify, IP addresses are neither available to nor logged by any software monitoring usage of Hyperwords or any other software related to communications from users, including security software on any related equipment, firewall logs or any other software or person.
